The 'Burbs Neighbourhood

The main musical score for The 'Burbs is composed by Jerry Goldsmith. There was a 13-track limited edition soundtrack released on the Varese Sarabande label and only 2500 copies were produced. With the passing of Jerry Goldsmith the value of these discs has increased immensely so if you see them on eBay you should expect to pay a high price.

In addition to the official soundtrack there is a bootleg disc which has 33 tracks and covers most of the score used in the film. The sound quality of this disc is not quite as good as the official disc (there is a bit of distortion on some of the louder tracks), but is generally OK.

In addition to the score composed by Jerry Goldsmith there is music by rock bands Circus Of Power and Jetboy.
